LAS VEGAS—Hot on the heels of a flurry of point-and-shoot announcements, Japanese camera-maker Fujifilm has announced its first interchangeable lens camera since the FinePix S5 Pro. The X-Pro1 is an APS-C sensor camera that is styled after a classic rangefinder, much like its fixed-lens X100 camera. It is set to launch with three Fujinon XF lenses: the XF 18mm F2 R, XF 35mm F1.4 R, and XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro. Because of the smaller-than-full-frame sensor size the lenses provide a 27-, 53-, and 91-mm field of view, respectively.
The camera's Hybrid Multi Viewfinder changes its field of view, depending on which lens is attached. This allows you to choose between a fixed optical finder with bright white framelines, or a through-the-lens electronic viewfinder with a 1.44 million pixel resolution when shooting at eye-level.
